Sheridan Inn

The Sheridan Inn, at 856 Broadway Street, Sheridan, Wyo., one of the original hotels in Sheridan, is famous for its many-gabled roof and because one of its early owners, William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody, is said to have auditioned performers for his Wild West show from the front porch. The hotel, named a National Historic Landmark and also included on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in the early 1890s, but has undergone a number of restorations and is open for guests.
