Tongue River Crossing State Historical Marker

The historic marker, located on the north side of U.S. Highway 14 between Ranchester and Dayton, Wyoming, details the history of an 1865 Arapaho attack on the Sawyers Expedition and the location nearby of a subsequent stage stop on the Bozeman Trail route.
